Relax & Enjoy

30-seconds of relaxation from the Sundance Resort in Utah,

Help!

I need help! Now if my wife were to read this post she would agree and immediately call the authorities and let them know what type of help she believes I need. The white coats with the buckles, etc. on the reverse never worked for me but I get off topic.

In this climate in which I reside I go through 3-4 tubes of chapstick each winter. That sounds like a lot but I lose a lot of them. They’re slippery little buggers. Anyhoo, I really hate that stuf that’s petroleum based and I use the sttuff pictured here. The problem is I can’t find it anywhere and I’m driving all over God’s creation looking for ther stuff because I forgot to stock up. If anyone can find it send me a note and let me know. There’s a reward for the person who can tell me where to buy it. Not really, I mean there will be no reward other than than warm feeling you get in the bottom of your heart from helping out a fellow human being with chapped lips.

Thanks!

my nephews

These are my nephews Ian and Evan. Ian is on the left and Evan on the right. The boys reside in Pittsburgh with their parents and are as mischevious as they look. They struggled to sit still for even a few moments and as soon as the flash went off they were behind the camera asking if they can see themselves.

The boys are great kids and I hope Santa brings them everything they want!

my dog jack

Jack and I went for a walk this afternoon in the brilliant winter sun. We lack the snow that he enjoys which is usually over 6″ deep but he likes playing in it anyway. Jack is that one constant in my life. When I’m feeling stressed I sit down on the floor, he gets a bone and sits next to me. His biggest stress throughout the day is “who is going to feed me?” and “Who is going to walk me?” There are days when I would kill for a life as simple as that!

prayer flags

These are special prayer flags for me. They were given to me by a friend who had traveled to Tibet earlier in the year. I had helped him and his wife with some issues with which they were struggling and this was my payment, my gift. They have hung outside for the past several months for all to enjoy and the wind carries their prayers to all who are willing to hear.

Thanks Barry.
