When I was typing the title for this post I thought of Steve Martin in the movie “The Jerk” when Steve Martin announced to the world, “The new phone books are here! The new phone books are here!” In this case it’s not a phone book but the book I helped Sarah and Jason create when they allowed me the opportunity to photography their wedding.
When I booked this couple I pointed them in the direction of Blurb.com. I’m not a fan of the big expensive, fancy photo albums. Maybe that’s because I am so unhappy with my own but that’s another story. What I love about photography is the ability to tell a story. I mentioned in an earlier post that Sarah’s mother had loved the fact she could “pop the DVD into the player and relive the entire day through pictures and music.” What I love about Blurb is the ability to put together a great book that the couple can be happy to keep out on their coffee table and share with others. I think my wedding album is under our bed in a box and that box of 500 proofs…who knows where they are.
