Linear Sculpture

Yesterday was a difficult day. I’m finding lately that Monday’s are tough to start no matter how much coffee I have. As I was completing my work day I drove toward the Niagara River and decided to take a short walk along the River Walk. Withing 10-minutes of walking I was startled by my phone ringing. I allowed the call to go to voice mail and after I listened to the voice mail I found myself sitting and thinking about how detached I felt from just about everything except what was happening right at that moment. It seems my camera does that to me, or is it for me.
When I walk with my camera I’m always on the look out for ideas that would make good photographs, photographs that capture my imagination in some way.
Today, with the sun high over head it was the shadows that were cast that caught my attention. Here is some of what I saw. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed taking them.
