I attended a basic lighting workshop on Saturday. The workshop was hosted by the Buffalo Photography Meetup Group and was held at Blair and Mez’s studio on Exchange Street in Buffalo. There were twelve photogs in attendance to listen to and learn from Luke Copping. Luke’s website can be found at http://lukecopping.com.
My favorite part of the afternoon was deconstructing photographs for the lighting techniques which were used and recreating them in the studio.
Here’s a couple of the results.
The first photo is of David Barker, a Bflo. photog.
The second photo is of Curt Bischoff. Curt was our first model and agreed to model because he so closely resembled the model in the magazine ad. I had a great time and learned a lot that I can use to improve my studio lighting. Thanks to our instructor Luke Copping and to Blair and Mez for the use of their studio.
