This is the spot Marilyn Monroe made famous in her 1953 movie “Niagara.” I’m not sure what it is that helps conjure those thoughts; maybe it’s the rush of the water combined with the lights, amusements and fireworks that creates a sensational atmosphere. For me it’s an opportunity to escape the hectic, busyness of everyday life.
