Okay. I did promise some of the action shots, so here they are. Now I know what you’re thinking. This isn’t an action shot. Well your partially correct. I told Stephen he needed to put on the hat and I needed to get a picture as payback for him sleeping the entire way to South Bend. I might have forgotten to tell him I was going to upload it to the blog. Looks happy doesn’t he?

Notre Dame

iPhone+pics+026 Notre DameiPhone+pics+025 Notre Dame            iPhone+pics+009 Notre DameThis has been one busy week. I haven’t had an opportunity to post photos from the whirlwind trip to Notre Dame last weekend. The “whirlwind” started when Stephen’s football game finished Friday night. The Jacks won! I tried to sleep for a few hours before getting on the road and making the seven hour trip. As you can see, Marissa and Stephen had no problem sleeping. I was very jealous and at one point of Jim Carey’s character in the movie “Dumb and Dumber” as he threw items at his sleeping co-pilot. Of course I was nice. Stephen has two ways of sleeping in the car. One with a pillow and one without. Of course I never had an opportunity to try either out. It was poetic justice that he forgot his pillow at the hotel.

Stephen snapped this as he woke up. Remember I said it was a 7-hour ride. Do the math and you’ll quickly figure out he slept the entire trip! Lucky him!
We finally arrived at the campus in time to park the car, do some quick shopping and get into the stadium.

After we got to our seats I marveled at the location, right behind the band. This was close enough to get some great action shots right from the stands. Here’s a few iPhone shots of the band and the field. Later I’ll upload some of the action shots.
